Cultural Sensitivity..... and the cultural repetitive clashes

                                     https://blogger.googleusers.con...

I wish I could provide a glimpse of the contemporary paradigm about cultural sensitivity and how it represents itself in our everyday life. Every time I experience or witness a cross-cultural clash, I am struck by the lack of cultural openness about one another's differences without the background of cultural stereotypes. I am sure many experienced these questions include, "where are you from? What do you do for work? What brought you to the United States? Do you have an accent or being in that heated, finger-pointing, judgemental, and sharp comments through conversations if you dare to ask questions?

Moreover, working within a hierarchy system, not a horizontal system where your position determines the limits of any dialogue, and written up for asking questions or asking for more information for better understanding. Or felt attacked, disrespected, or even unheard, and wrapped in this stereotype cultural assessment and judgment. So wrapped in the stories are being told about Easter- Western and non-Western cultures. Reports to form fixed persistent opinions about those who do not come from the same linear type of cultures addressed as westernized cultures by means, internal locus of control, individualistic, open to experiment, protected by the law, and mainly including specific regions of the world. Hence, the judgment is based on which part of the world the individual oblong, religion, political, and sociocultural contexts. Here, the individual is predisposed to stereotype types of living, behaving, thinking, and acting, the sociopsychological patterns that are followed to repeat the same outcomes for the benefit of keeping the same dynamics that shaped institutions, communities, and nations for centuries. Therefore, cultural clashes keep happening, and what persists exists. The individual may practice their native customs and traditions, business, education, and marriage within their own tribe, which is criticized from the Western point of view. However, when it comes to legal regulations and rules, the field of western culture understands its foundation to follow the law regarding cultural disputes. Meanwhile, Eastern- cultures feel entitled to certain judgments and how things should go. Some Easterns take the hermit mode approach, immerse themselves in understanding the western laws and get higher in their education to make it their competitive merit within the hierarchical cultural dynamics.

The approach takes lots of effort, sacrifices, and isolation from the real world, and they are focused on competing with the Western mindset. Even though this approach adds to the community's individualistic contributions, having well-educating individuals adds to the overall nation's productivity and economy. Yet, on the tribe level, the efforts are not enough. The herd still faces cultural clashes, as not everyone is equipped to take this hard road of immersion. Hence, the herd needs to be educated and use their simple language. A language that speaks to their way of expressing their distress and mental oppression. The language that understands their emotional, social, cultural, and political overwhelm and maneuvers through the ups and down within a culture that is foreign to them. Where everyone feels entitled to where they come from, even if they physically do not live there anymore. Yes, individuals can work, make money, have a family, and have a harmonious or conflicting social network. In both, the rooting process in law and regulations still persists. The entitlement process increases when the individual is surrounded by a conflicting network dynamic. Since this individual does not align with the in-group dynamic, experiences will show them as troublemakers, trouble seekers, in trouble with the law, doesn't respect the rule or follow them, perpetrators, can't trust them, and all negative connotation about their culture of origin follow them wherever they go.

Even though these cultural clashes are not allowed to be discussed openly with the individual due to cultural sensitivity rule, they will enable the scenario of negative connotations about specific groups and cultures to persist. Which creates the paradigm of cultural syndromes. Where the inner core of cultural understanding is dropped from the equation. And the materialistic approach is what is measured. The seen, the obvious, the declared, the learned, the transferrable stereotypical system to be applied when cultural clash shows up in the scene. Suppose any person on earth was born acknowledgeable of their nation's laws and regulations biologically. Therefore, there is no need for the foundation of the institutional constitutions, legislative and executive bodies that write, rewrite, modify, remodify, create, recreate, talk, listen, filter, and form each rule human beings come across. It is a continuum process of reforming institutions to protect the subject's rights with the mind of cultural diversity and coping with the new state of being. Suppose the individual lack Psychosociocultural education in interacting with human beings, their cultural clashes persist, discrimination, biases, delusional thinking, and injustice continues. In that case, stereotypical theories remain, and the same outcomes will show up, the same problems, the same hierarchy of communications, the same walking on the eggshell to express your voice where stereotypes and fixed approaches exist, and getting you nowhere but more of cultural clashes. The need for cultural openness to educate, inform, and show evidence is the hope for a healed culture from generational stereotypical theories. By. ME "The Old Ancient woman."

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to Brain Exhaustion Era....

images.search.yahoo.com/
First, I am not a neuroscientist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or any form of medical affiliation. However, I am a long-life learner, survivor, and Educator. I have been my own coach for 15 years, coming from the other side of pain. Learning a lot about myself and what is the causation and correlation of mental and physical debilitation across life. Living in an age of emotional disconnection, intergenerational trauma, and modern life challenges. Most adults function from a survival mode, carrying this heavy package of familial history background, environmental toxins, challenges, socioeconomic battles, and political and faith clashes. Battles that humankind brought onto themselves. In the hunters and gatherers era, finding methods to survive and fight the dangers, chasing the tigers, and running on high levels of cortisol and adrenaline, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. However, their biological build-up was different. They could survive and be exposed to the natural dangers surrounding them, living in caves, mountains, deserts, and water streams. They created the lifestyle that would enable them to survive, which may be explained through Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs ' Physical: food, sleep, sex, shelter, Safety: security of body, work, property, Belonging: love, affection, family, and sexual intimacy." Most of the daily routines were focused on the animal brain, reptilian, and mammalian brain due to the limitation of life, or the nature of life around them. Stress, since hunters and gatherers were the dominant drives of survival, Human life was at risk due to the natural environment. Hence, the drive for protection and safety was fear driven. However, they presented the pure image of human life without industrial development. They created their own tools for the better of their understanding. A question still persists: " Did they fight for self-esteem and self-actualization?" Were they living to search for a higher meaning than the animal brain? Was there any conceptualization of life beyond the physical and safety needs? How did they reflect on that? Who guided them? And if there is another story that may be shaped where we are right now, functioning from a brain exhaustion state that brings us to the "Survival Mode" yet from a modern-industrialized and urbanized perspective?

Why do humans still choose to function from an emotionally reactive state, jumpy, disruptive, aggressive, and unrest? Your energy tells a lot about the point of functioning in the world. An overloaded Autonomic Nervous System. Moving from hunters and gathers to the industrialized modern world added nothing but more stressors and complexity to life dynamics. The conflict between maintaining life, meeting life obligations, dysfunctional relationships, and political and religious conflicts that humans can carry negative consequences whether they agree or not. It tunes into loading your systems with more toxins, and negative emotions run from the constant loop of negative thinking, the "Default Mode Network." that depletes the brain's ability to do its work productively. Approximately 60,000 thoughts per day act as a distraction and turn the sympathetic nervous system. Activating the fight- flight- freeze response, accelerating the heart rate, high blood pressure, fluctuating rhythm in the heart, and breathing.  Allowing negative reactive impulsive, and disruptive behaviors to be dominant. Blocking the Positive-Task default mode to counterfeit the overwhelmed state of the nervous system, impacting how you think, react, and eat, depleting your essential neurotransmitters, and impacting organ function. Reaching this state of homeostasis imbalances. Physical dysfunction, and fatigue, impact the brain in a harmful way and can lead to the destruction of neural function. Decrease in concentration, poor performance on a task, poor engagement with the world.

The need for safety persists, and trust becomes an issue, leading to negative presumptions and poor decision-making. The constant state of conflict within the Mind- Body, the"I," "me," "myself," and others. Creates this state of "I" Vs. "Them," "us," Vs." them." This constant running equation in every thought, action, decision, and step a human operates within the world. Lots of implicit calculations where they belong, who should be there, who shouldn't;t be there, who is excluded, and who is included? How much that results in, and where it takes me further? How much does that bring back into their deposits? What are the financial burdens that occur from operating from this overthinking that is controlled by the attitudes, beliefs, social, cultural, and comparison mindset? Comparison within familial dynamics, society, community, tribe, groups, nations, and the world. Imagine modern human life still operating from the prejudice and biases among eastern vs. western, European Vs non-European, and African Vs. Non-African, White Vs. Non-white is the mental segregation mindset that implies the sociocultural, socioeconomically, sociopolitical, and socioreligious within in-groups and out-groups. Shaping the social class conflicts and the drive to dominate over a specific industry or service. The increased drive to control. To keep the status quo among either minority or majority. It doesn't matter which group a human belongs to or pretends to belong to anymore.

That leads to another survival mode behavior, which is masking. To get what we want, humans started to lean onto fake it till you make it, motives in disguise, and playing actors, and actresses in real-life theatre, wages are determined according to the part taking place. Masking real feelings and opinions, denying the inner voice of truth, or expressing the voice of opposite thoughts. In modern life, that is the core of conflicts among generations, races, and nations. It helps keep control. And maintain the social dynamic to that state that is supposed to reach the hidden goals. Maskingallowed many identities to be suppressed and hidden under the character being played. Masking can help humans to reach the place they want to get to. However, maintaining it is an expensive task. It can cost humans their health, productivity, relationships, and conscious state. Having healthy thinking, a healthy brain, and a healthy body with social masking is hard. It started when the person thought that was the way to earn the world. However, what is happening in reality, they are losing themselves. In social making, nothing will be satisfactory, nothing will be enough, and no one will be equivalent to the status that they reached the expense of their own identity. Imagine when humans are running from survival mode all their lives. What could be the type of mind and body they carry along the way? Is it worth it? How often have you battled within and kept your social masking intact? What risky behaviors do you adopt to ensure the mask is still there? Society will keep raising its challenges to see who is ready to drop the "self" and deny the "self" for endless short gains. Controlled by impulsive gratification toward the desires, and hunger for control, power, authority, and other gains come across at the expense of real life. Creating conflict becomes the currency for more drive to control. And life turns into endless fights for hidden motives and the drive to control. Which is not a healthy life. A life that drives pain, dis-ease, stress, and more division among humans. A life that drives conflict over peace. A life that doesn't honor God in each life around. It is a life for short, perished gains. So, what is up to your mind? Conflict or peace, Brain exhaustion, or Brain health?  By: ME, "The Old Ancient Woman"

COLOR ME..........

Sensing the world around you brings multiple memories and experiences. It brings all the heavy waves along the way, returning to the tides of the unwanted shores. It is that hate-love relationship with tendencies of never letting it go. The complexity of relationships contains millions of contradictory stories and tales that shaped the past and show the present controls the future to the dimensions of nowhere. The hate-love battles bring nothing but lost dreams and souls. Reminding you of the impossible goals, the tides of the trapped souls to breathe. As if breathing is a criminal act, it has to be judged over the years. Bringing the person into the cage of despair, the dark energies won't let go of the free spirit to breathe. It is an unhealthy dynamic to live and experience, leaving the mind-body and soul exhausted to walk one more step.

The punishment of being who she is or how she thinks and behaves. It is this anger of not being able to control her. For centuries, movements have proclaimed freedom for all, yet realities tell something else. It is contradictory to claim something and practice the opposite due to the socioeconomically, sociopolitical, and religious norms. That put the human soul on a life-long trail to be the life-sentenced offender who will never be released, forgiven, or let go. The collective crime of abusing the human soul. Or maybe the human soul is something far away from the spirit of the natural law. The Man-made law designed the sociocultural constructs. Books bright are the opportunity for the street smart to play with. Sometimes power conflicts are in place. The endless confusion and tensions twist realities for targeted outcomes. Hence, life becomes like video games, only those who know how to play them get the point and understand the backstage scenarios. The socioeconomic race allowed subgroups to take place. The blueprint of what is happening lies in subgroups' hands and minds. So, no wonder when you witness specific tactics are in play. Whether to bring or individual down or, as political science can name it," Character Assassination" through planned adverse events targeting the antagonists. Competitive environments create negative returns on human health and the value of life. Hence, adding value to human life isn't clear enough for subgroups. The main focus is on how to keep the power, authority, and wealth in their pool as they progress together.

Competitiveness added more to the environmental stressors and switched the most productive environment into a highly toxic one. Cultural demeaning may be one of the strategies to clear the way for subgroups. Denying minorities' rights for equal opportunity as an individualistic tendency may require collective efforts from the antagonistic to make their rights be addressed and take action. Yet, culturally, societies failed to accept individualistic rights on equal feet with collective rights to be fulfilled. Still, the equity scale is leaning toward joint initiatives and deliberately denying individual approaches. Over decades, standing for your freedom has been a present fight that continues over life. Yet, the definition of freedom is lost.

What do you mean by freedom? And who are you? What are your goals? And why did you seek an individualistic approach? To whom do you belong? What are your beliefs? Who do you serve with? Are you related to a group? And the endless investigative of rights denial tone continues, and you will walk through loops of suspension, blockages, and bumpy roads. You know that freedom has to be designed within specific frames, protocols, agreements, and in a corporate look. You come back to the group interests. Hence, it doesn't matter if you are seeking something good or not; you have to understand the subgroup mentality. Reminds you of the lost identity of the child when they start to grow their identity at the age of seven years old, till twelve years old. They want to be like those around them to feel a sense of belonging and "fit." Unfortunately, adopting such survival adaptation to the social norm can lead the person into challenging and adverse experiences that will impact them on the mental, emotional, physical, and psychological spectrum. Unfortunately, the survival strategies to belong and fit become the norm, and the person loses their own true identity. And that is substantial betrayal humans do toward each other when they forget to what extent this game they are allowed to play, the consequences in the long run, and the different phases of maturity. This social game embeds within daily living, and the person can't identify their endurance threshold. Until they fall into a complex state of mixed emotions, anger, resentment, confusion, sadness, restless thoughts of who am I? experiencing the lashes of rejection and being unable to communicate all these emotions with the requirements of the world around them. It is hard to find the same game of " belonging" and" being fit" still in play in adulthood. A game that promotes everything fake, more loss of self-identity, and betrayal of the true self. Projecting all the frustrations on one another opens the way to more toxicity and illness manifestations, including refusing to live anymore. You witness the heavy load the person carries through their walk, talk, and breathing. You notice avoiding eye contact. You experience the intellectual distances between mind and body. You experience and witness the mental cages humans designed for themselves out of fear of being their true selves. Judging all those who don't act, think, and live like them. To have the courage to voice your mind will be considered another loss or betrayal toward the environment around you. Hence, another loss and betrayal have to occur toward self.

However, at a particular moment, the person will reach their own limits, holding onto only self-observed realities. Realities that don't care a moment about them. When they realize how far they denied their own soul and healing from within. When their soul screams at them, shouting COLOR ME, color me with hope and grace. Color me with the gratitude of endless loving- kindness to your true self. Color me with a light of your mind and heart to do what brings life unto your day. All the judgment, entitlement, demeaning, or toxic behavior is a death of the mind and soul. So, rise up, keep moving, pick up your brush, and paint a new story of life, a life that is seeking only the beauty in the human soul, to strengthen your breath and hold you together till the end. Color me with a note of encouragement, uplifting, and word of life. Hear the sound of renewal and refreshing the tired soul. Color me. BY: ME," The Old Ancient Woman"
